The vacation home “Domi Aloisii” is located in a quiet and elegant area of Rome, in the district known as “Della Vittoria.”
In its immediate surroundings, you’ll find supermarkets as well as excellent bars and restaurants. There are also several banks and a variety of clothing stores and boutiques, especially along via Sabotino and via Giuseppe Ferrari. The presence of green, tree-lined flower beds makes the neighborhood pleasant and relaxing compared to other parts of the city, which are more crowded and noisy.
The “Della Vittoria” district is also home to three very important institutions for media, public administration, and justice: RAI, the Corte dei Conti, and the Prefectures along with both civil and criminal courts.
Additionally, for theater enthusiasts, the district features the Teatro Manzoni, where you can enjoy numerous performances throughout the year.
Adjacent to the “Della Vittoria” area, the commercial district “Prati,” which is reachable on foot in just a few minutes, includes via Cola di Rienzo with its eponymous square, where a multitude of shops, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, and cinemas are concentrated.
The entire “Prati-Della Vittoria” area is, in any case, an excellent choice for travelers interested in museums, art, and culture as well as sports, since the vacation home is close to the Foro Italico (which houses the sports facilities of the Stadio Olimpico, the Centrale Tennis Stadium, and the Olympic Pool) and not far from the three Auditoriums of the “Parco della Musica,” a popular destination to attend various concerts and shows. Finally, near the “Parco della Musica” you’ll also find the “MAXXI,” which hosts modern art exhibitions, workshops, and more.
Just a hundred meters away, Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini offers a permanent taxi stand.
The “Lepanto” metro station is reachable on foot in only 10 minutes and allows you to get to the Historic Center (Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, etc.) in just 5 minutes by metro, by getting off at the next stop “Flaminio.”
In the “Della Vittoria” district, several bus lines run through, allowing you to reach other parts of the city. Among these, bus no. 32 stops on Viale Angelico just a 5-minute walk from the “Domi Aloisii” vacation home and, with only 3 stops, gets you to St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican Museums.
